About Us
MGA was founded in 1938 by Thompson McCleary, AIA as a sole proprietorship.MGA has a long standing history designing financial institutions. In 1971 we designed our first branch, and decided to specialize exclusively in financial institution design in mid-1980s when the name was changed to McCleary German Associates to reflect the ownership of Dale McCleary & Bill German (both now retired). Since then we have completed over 700 individual financial projects in Texas and various states around the country.
Financial design expertise has led MGA to design many different building types including corporate, tenant/remodeling, retail, and residential. We strive to provide an exceptional level of design sensibility and service to all of our clients.
Service
MGA is dedicated to great service; a number of past and present clients can attest with glowing recommendations. When you work with MGA you will work directly with one of three owners. Scott Clanton, Eric Batte and David Lewis have shared ownership and management of the firm since 1998. Our highest priority is giving outstanding service to our clients.
MGA's expert service is continuous from planning through construction. A dedicated Construction Administrator is on staff to assure that all projects are built to the level of quality expected.
Technology
MGA has pioneered the use of advanced technology to aid in the design and documentation of their projects. The use of the latest BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools help visualize building design prior to construction, integrating the process construction documents. This results in clear design intent, better coordination between the trades, fewer issues to resolve during construction and better value for you.
We're also adept at working anywhere, whether traveling in person or using current technologies to collaborate with clients & the design team. The use of technology has made the world more accessible and, therefore, making it easy to work with MGA.
