GROUP MEDICAL INSURANCE

Our carrier is the Principal Financial Group.  Our plan is the  Principal Choice Comprehensive Medical Insurance with a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO).  We have a calendar year deductible ($500) and a per visit charge (co-pay) of $15 in 2007. Routine physicals, prescription drugs, dental policy and a $25,000  term life policy is included.

PROFIT SHARING

We have a 401k, tax deferred plan, providing a convenient ‘deferred salary’ savings account for all employees.  You decide how much of your salary to put into your account, up to 15%.  MGA contributes 3% to your account.  You can start this program immediately; there is not a vesting period.  We currently have 17 different investment choices in the plan. 

PROFESSIONAL DUES

All AIA dues are paid by us.  We will pay for your attendance at up to four educational seminars per year.

VACATIONS, HOLIDAYS, ETC.

Two weeks vacation, construction industry standard Holidays (usually seven days per year), plus an additional half day at Christmas and New Years.  One week “sick” leave.

DRESS CODE

Informal wear is allowed and encouraged.  Certain client meetings might require more formal dress.  Cleanliness, neatness and a professional appearance are required.

WORK HOURS

In 2002, MGA adopted a two team schedule where each team has every other Friday afternoon off.  Normal hours are 8:30 to 6:00 with 12 to 1 for lunch.  The net result is 80 work hours per person every two weeks.
