Amegy Bank of Texas engaged MG Architects in 2015 with the challenge of Rebranding their Traditional Banking centers and Improving their Customer Service Model.
Amegy Bank operates 75 branches throughout Texas and has 1,600 employees.
The process began by holding a Visioning Session with Senior Management, Retail, and Facilities personnel to determine the design direction and desired customer experience. From that initial meeting, MG Architects worked closely with the bank to develop a long term strategy focused around the Universal Banker, Shared Advisory Spaces and the Customer Journey.
A New Branch Experience
After analyzing Amegy’s varying needs we translated these ideas into 3 strategically sized branches to serve Hub, Standard and Micro-Branch Markets. Each branch is consistently modern, progressive and inviting to support the updated service model and reflect the bank's brand and culture, and includes key features such as universal banker pods, integrated branding, and an informal flex-space dubbed "The A-Lounge".
"The A-Lounge" is available for seminars and more relaxed customer consultations and features full video conferencing capabilities.
An initial pilot model renovation was completed in early 2016 with results immediately rolling into the next generation branches currently in development. A signature 2-story “Hub” branch in Sugar Land, Texas is the the first ground up location to be constructed with MG Architects along with a single story branch prototype in New Braunfels, Texas (pictured below). Both will break ground in Q4 2016.
