We are pleased to announce the completion of our 12th branch for Frost Bank. It's strategically located in the Garden Oaks neighborhood of Houston and is perfectly situated to serve a historically under-banked neighborhood and neighboring communities. Thoughtful planning allows this location to qualify as a CRA (Community Reinvestment Act) branch.
With limited land available, the bank opted for a 3,347 square foot branch without a drive-through. However, it's a full service, state-of-the-art facility featuring the signature Frost banking environment and a rich palette of natural materials. Over the years a typical Frost branch has evolved from traditional teller delivery via tellerline to a hybrid tellerline/teller pod model, and now fully embraces the Universal Banker concept.
Since 2006 Frost has entrusted MG Architects to execute their vision as they continue to evolve and lead community banking in Texas.
